What's the best way to sharpen the BK4, when needed?

I would say get biggest ceramic stick you can find, nice thick 1 inch should be good.

Uh ill convex it on a belt sander then use sandpaper on my leg to get the recurve. its how i do the RBK

I use a belt sander and can (and have) shaved hairs with it.

Kind of a pain to get into the curve, Been debating on cutting a diamond stone down the middle to get in there.

lansky puck sharpener and a sort of strict wax on technique. The way I use mine I don't need it sharp just pointy.
