Yep I got Christmas money to spend. I have heard some talk on here
before on the topic of jackets. I am looking for something with a liner. Any ideas would be most appreciated.
Thanks Woodlore

For non-extreme situations, I like my Columbia Double Whammy. Covers 3 1/2 seasons....

Got it last winter for under $100.

I think Campmor has them.

Hope this helps.

IMHO the Carhartt arctic coat. You'll still have enough left over for the snap-on hood (works great, BTW) and a T-bone with gravy fries on the way home.

Go woth the blanket lined carhart and a gray colored carhart hooded sweatshirt. Make sure you get the coat big enough to fit over the hoody, you will have a 4 season combo and for less than a 150 bucks and you can't get any warmer than what this will provide. I have worn this combo for years and have no complaints at all even in the coldest of weather. Keep'em sharp

Thanks for all the info guys. I ended up getting a Columbia Omni Tech
Waterproof Breathable Shell that was on sell for 129.00 . With Fleece liner it is warm and weatherproof.

A little late, but I got a Remington 4-in-1 parka at Wal-Mart last year for $40 (reduced from $68).

It's camo. Of course, I use it mainly for hunting. Water repellant. Nice thick liner. Lots of pockets.
A great, warm coat.

Another vote for the Cabela's 3 "n" 1 parka. Bought one about this time last year, ands love it
!!
Best c note I ever spent..
