What's the chance of a HEST in....

tan or green being produced?
I get that its a relatively new knife, and I want one badly. I just bought an Izula and it clearly has won out for EDC, but I want a backup for camping and I think the HEST is gonna win out.
I'd prefer a tan one cause, frankly, I lose stuff easy.
I'd rather see my knife, if I put it down in poor lighting than not...
(I'm gonna buy one regardless, but thought it was worth the askin')

I wouldn't wait for it. Not saying it won't happen at some point, anythings possible, but there's so much in the pipeline right now, one more flush and were going to overflow Rowen's toilets.

I don't think Jeff is real keen on adding even more SKU's too soon.

So like Esav said, orange lanyard.
 
Got it. I'll go with a yellow paracord wrap when I take it out camping. Now to justify a third knife in a month or so...
 
Shon makes a great knife and Jeff & Mike are usually busy doing anything but being in the knife business :)) But that's what makes the product different. If they were pencil pushers their knives would be made in China and would look like all those other manufacturers.

That's the truth. That's why I like this HEST project so much. Designed from someone with experience instead of an engineer sitting behind a desk. Let me talk to Shon about an OD HEST and see what he says about the production pipeline.

No fair! I was looking to get a (black) HEST b/c that's all that's offered. More decisions...:)

If there was one in OD, I'd (definitely) pick one up. If the handles were G10, would it be difficult as compared to micarta to hollow-out the compartment?
