I really want to buy one but I've seen prices all over the place.

What I'm looking for is a bottom line price for a reference, any help?

Rock bottom I've seen was $150. I've seen $150-170 mainly, aside from retail stores that want MSRP.

I agree with steven. I would also like to pick one of these up, but I'm trying to go the cheap route, and when the come up at rock bottom prices, I always seem to miss them, or the knife fund is low at the time.:grumpy:

I know what you mean, I want one in the worst way, but it's only June and I've used up July through Decembers funds,(July-December of 2005):(

I'm determined, I'll get one by sale or trade.:D

i've never really seen them online for 150-170 at online stores. The only times i've seen them for that price is a used one in the for sale forum. I got one from new graham for 185, I know knifecenter has them for like 190. You can probably get one off ebay for 170 if you are lucky.

Yeah, i would say short of stumbling across a great deal in the forums, and youd have to be pretty quick to grab one at $150, $170 is what youre looking at.

But, i would also say, this is an amazing knife for even $200 let alone $170, so, even at $170, youre really doing well value-wise. As others have said, Ebay is a good place to look for a bargain as well.

But, remember, with Blade just behind us and new knives being introduced, the BM has some competition, like the Kershaw Bump and Robo-Dominator, both of which look pretty good to me, though i havent yet seen one in person. Still, it'll be tough to beat the BM for sheer smoothness and quality, it truly is not all that far from a real Mayo, think of it as Miracle Whip.... :) Yes, the real Mayo is a better knife, i know this having owned a few, but of course the BM can be had for 1/4 the price of a real TnT and frankly, the real Mayos are too expensive and just too damn nice for me to use, so for that reason also, the BM is a good choice, you wont mind actually using it.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm gonna count my pennies, and see where I wind up Dave H.
