Does everyone else have to log in every time they visit Bladeforums now, or is it just me. If so why the change?

Thanks,

Bill

When I came here an hour ago I had to re-click the "remember be" box, but I just got here and it auto-logged me in.

:thumbdn: Yes, it's making me do that too. I have my browser to automatically delete my cashe and cookies whenever I log off. I normally only sign in when I want to post, so for me it's a pain, but I am a guest here, so I can't complain too much.

Bill, Seems like I'm having to log at least once a day if I'm wanting to reply to something. At least now I have a password I can remember.

Seems to be widespread. I had to log in tonight for the first time in a long time. Must be a glitch if its hit this many of us.

Yesterday, I had to log on to reply to a post (which I don't usually have to do), I didn't highlight "remember me" so the next time I came to BF I had to log on again, that time I did click 'remember me" and today it logged me on automatically.

Earlier today it took me 4 tries to login. I KNOW I was typing my password correctly... I had the damn thing right in front of me!

I was getting worried, as it said that after 5 failed attempts, it wouldn't allow the user to login.

I just about gave up. But then I wouldn't have had my daily fix of you bastids! :D

oops, forgot to mention that I don't normally ever have to login either...

It appears they have installed new software. There was an announcement about it at the top of the shop talk page last week. Looks like it's going to be a bit different.

looks like the admin has killed off the forum. a total of ten users right now when normally there would be 40-50. most people like to read, but not necessarily register to view a forum.:thumbdn:

I had to log in to reply yesterday evening but got in with no problems this morning. I've been having the same problem on knife directory also.

Spark reset the software from 11:45 to about 1:30 yesterday.

You will need to click the "Remember Me" box next to your login. Do it once and you won't have to keep logging in.

The upgrade in software brought along some changes. One of which should be noted: There is now a spell check button at the top-right corner where you type your post (at least here in the quick-reply box).

I just had to log in again. The last time I did I also clicked the "remember me button". I'm starting to think the "remember me button" has old timmers.
