What's the deal with Fehrman knives?

I saw a recent thread where someone had tested a group of large survival-type knives. The Fehrman Final Judgment was one of the knives.

The thread had sparked my memory on these knives, having read about them in another forum, just when the company was getting started.

I was wondering on the recent status of these blades. Who has them? Who has used them? What other reviews are out there?

I ask because they seem like they would be tougher than dirt, considering they are made of 1/4" 3V steel. I was wondering how they compare, in overall toughness, to other survival style blades. Edge retention, as well.
 
I own the Final Judgement,And have tested it with other big blades also,It is one hell of a blade and has held its edge better then any of the blades I own,The handle is just perfect,Overall my favorite blade.
The overall knife is put together perfectly,As far as edge retention it is amazeing,Ive chopped through deer leg bone and large branches and small trees and still have yet to dull the edge.
