Whats the deal with kershaw customer service?

I order a kershaw onion ricochet and it works nice for 4 days and then starts sounding like a rattling piece of junk. So
I send it back to kershaw telling them whats
going on with it. The final outcome, I get the knife back and it opens a little faster but sounds twice as worse. Is their service
department compitent?

Years ago I sent a BlackHorse 11 in for repairs, broken tip. They sent me a brand spankin new knife!

I had no problem with Kershaw at that time.

Well, my buddy's Random Task had a TERRIBLE lockup, as do almost ALL RT's. So, he emailed Kershaw...after a month of no response, he just mailed it off with a desc. of the problem. Well, about 6 weeks later, he gets it back, and it's missing a screw!!! So, he has to send it back yet, again, as they don't do the email thing. Well, gets it back 4 weeks maybe, and opens it up like 4 times...guess what, THE TORSION BAR BROKE IN HALF!!! Believe me, this knife hasn't been in operation long enough to be abused. I told him to just toss it...but oh no...sends it off to Kershaw again!!! Gets it back in a few more weeks, and has had it for almost a week now...lockup is TERRIBLE, action is sloppy, and overall a POS. Geesh...talk about a waste of time, and money.
