Can someone tell me what NIB and FHM means? BTW since this is a BM42 thread i'm not gonna waste time and post a new topic to ask my questions. I'll just ask them here:

1)What's up with the BM42A's blue color looking different in different pictures. Is every one different?

2)How tough are they? Really? Some people say Jags are tough some people say they're crap. And are all BM42s good, not like Jags how you get a good one once in a while?

3)How sharp is the blade?

FHM = Filipino Hand Made
NIB = New In Box

I was able to figure those out after a little while here, but it took me forever to learn what BTTT was

I figured FHM but I was still wondering whether it was a specific brand or just a name for all balis from the phillipines.

I got my 42 for 100 NIB plus shipping, the place still has like 15 left in stock the last time I checked.
What is BTTT

It's the anodization process of the titanium handles that gives them a different hue at different angles and different lightings.

Really tough, just by handling and flipping them you can really tell that they will last a long time.
If you don't get a good one, i believe BM will readily help you.

The BM42 that i got is not so sharp, it's a little dull for me.

I think FHM stands for all Filipino Balis as they are all handmade ..

And BTW, damn, you are the first person to say anything bad about the BM42. I thought the blade was really sharp. People say the tip is like a needle...
