I am mainly looking for a khukri to carry with my pac to use as a chopper OR small tasked camping knife. I didn't know if the different modles mend different quality. It looks like shape is the biggest differance.

I would get that item Pen is selling, since it is probably all doctered up with his convex edge, etc. etc.
If it is sold, you can always order a 12" AK off the HI website. Those also have horn handles and bolsters/buttcaps of brass rather than steel. This means the handles are impervious to weather and almost impervious to wear.
