What's the difference between a basic member and a registered user?

Yeah, things have changed since you were last around.... Nowadays the scurvy landlubbers are known as mere "registered users." Basic Members are much cooler people who have chosen to contribute $10 a year toward keeping Bladeforums going, in return for which they get certain privileges that the scurvy landlubbers are not allowed, such as avatars, sigs, Private Messages, uploading pictures directly to the Bladeforums servers, and access to the secret Pirate's Cove.

Click on "Upgrade your forums experience, and help support this site" at the top of the page for more on memberships.

I wish I would've known that BEFORE I paid for a gold, I woulda got a prem.
If I decided to go prem. could I just pay the difference?

Sheesh -- did you read about the memberships? Your Gold Membership gives you all that with more space for PMs and uploads, plus you can sell knives, which I notice you've been doing. Basic Members can't sell on the forums.

If you want to pay a little more you can upgrade to a Platinum Membership with some extra privileges, or you could do that next year.

Coug, I think Crit meant Platinum, because there is no Prem. membership. He did ask if he could just pay the difference and so he would have to be thinking of upping his membership.

I went to plat because I appreciated the extra PM and pic upload space.

Yea what he said.

Okay, you can just pay the extra and upgrade your membership to Platinum -- with the same expiration date, but you won't be losing much time.
