Here's how Skunkdescribed it just before it hit the Company Store:

totally sterile, mission sterile....

special heat resistant coating too!

only time and very limited, .187 thick, sterile, very nicly done and a special extra sharp "Mole Edge"

very few, very nice, very..... center of the earthly.

The Mole Jack has a flat grind rather than the full height convex on the SJT.

More on the Mole here.

As for the other question:

Let's be absolutely clear about this:

The HOGSJTLE is numbered and has Tiger Stripe scales with a satin blade.
There were also two HOGSJT versions offered during the Minumental Extravaganzaa.
These were Double Cut blades with either Snakeskin (page 4) or G10 scales (page 10).
Jerry said that they were LE versions that didn't quite meet his expectations for satin and thus got blasted.
The pictures have disappeared from the threads, but maybe someone saved them elsewhere.

Mole Jack = "only time and very limited, .187 thick, sterile, very nicly done and a special extra sharp "Mole Edge", black/black, $247"
and
"totally sterile, mission sterile....

special heat resistant coating too!"
per Skunk's post 7.20.06

Blade Steel: INFI
Blade Length: 6"
Overall: 11 3/4"
Hardness: 58-60 Rc
Thickness: 3/16"

Of all of the new models being introduced this year, the Satin Jack TAC has received the highest marks from those who have handled the knives at the shows where they have been on display.
The TAC handle features superior ergonomics in both forward and reverse grips while the wide body blade shape is both at home in the wilderness or on the battlefield.
The Satin Jack TAC is the first blade ever produced by Busse Combat that features a full-height convex grind adding to its overall strength and cutting power. It will surely become one of your favorite blades and will set a new standard for other knives of its size and intended application."

What's the thickness on regular SJTAC's?? My black/snake is 187. It doesn't seem that 187 on a Mole is a meaningful # in that equation. (BATAC's are also 187.)

Basically then Mole is a flat grind that is better polished and some sort of special black coating. Yes?
