What's the difference between the hults bruk vs gransfors bruk?

So I'm in the market For a 20" axe to pack in my hiking bag. I came across 2 different companies from Sweden and I like their offerings but I am curious as to why the gransfors bruk is over $100 more than the hults bruk. They both seem to be identical in size and materials. Am I missing something? Any insight on this from folks who own these models. Thanx in advance.

Both are top notch. I have the HB and my son has the GB. There is not much difference in the 2. Seems that the prices on the GB's have increased faster than the HB's but not sure why.

I think you will be satisfied with either.

Tagging this for further information.:) The rumor I had heard, was that HB GB and weterlings where all owned by the same guy, but still have slightly different designs and quality control. I think all three are supposed to be pretty good though.

I have several of each. GB axes are nicer, there's just no two ways about it.
