What's the difference between the Mach 1 & Max 1? Are there subtle differences?

How long did the Nova run?

To the best of my knowledge, the Mach 1 and Max 1 are the same knife. Gilette got pissed at Emerson for using the Mach 1 name on a knife when they were using it on a razor, hence the name change. Of course, I could be wrong.

I actually quit using my Gillette mach 1 after receiving my Emerson Mach 1. I much prfer a few minutes of sharpening to spending 16.00 a pop on replacement blades.
