What's the difference?

This may very well be a dumb question, and yes I did search these forums for the answer first. My question to all you Buck guru's is, why is there a such a marked difference in price between the Buck Vantage Pro and the Buck Vantage Force Pro.... basically they look to me as being the same knife. Am I missing something?

Retail price on Buck's site is about $40.00 different, haven't looked at the street prices. G-10 on the Force Pro is probably more expensive but how much more I don't know. Other than the scale material I don't believe there is that much difference.

From my research so far, it appears that both the Buck Vantage Pro and the Buck Vantage Force Pro have CNC machined G10 handles... Still scratching my head trying to understand why the Vantage Force Pro has such a higher price as both knives appear to be just about identical.

Sorry, brain fart. I clicked on the Vantage (Glass reinforced nylon) by mistake instead of the Vantage Pro. Perhaps the texturing and new colors on the Force Pro are more expensive. May just be due to everything costing more and Buck raised the price on the newer models but hasn't yet on the older ones.
