Hey guys,
Big sebenza Fan here. I love reading stories about people having sebenzas for long periods of time and also love seeing pictures of them if possible. I know there's gotta be some other weirdos out there like me who enjoy this just as much

So I'm curious, what's the longest you've carried a sebenza for? Are you still currently carrying it?

I just recently acquired a small plain jane 31 that I plan on having forever. Its always a toss up in the morning between that or my small 21 with micarta inlays that I've had for a few months now. Unfortunately that's all the time I've spent with these guys lol. I had an old small 21 pj for a few years that I ended up selling for the 31, so yeah 3 years is the longest for me.

Can't wait to hear about your sebbies!

I carried an S30V large Sebenza for about 5 years. After carrying a Gayle Bradley for quite a while, I'm back on the CRK train. Last was a PJ 21 for a year now a micarta insingo 21 for about 6 months. This one isn't going anywhere for quite a while.

Every day since I got my first one on my bday, June 20. I just switched from that knife to a Damascus 21 that I got last Friday, so even though I switched knives, a Sebenza has been in my pocket since then. For the record, it’s going to be a while before I switch either out for something else.

Edited because pictures are good!

Thats pretty much where I'm at right now. I'm always carrying either my small plain jane 31, or my small 21 w/ micarta inlays. It's hard to go for anything else in the drawer when I have 2 sebenzas sitting there lol.

I bought my first Sebenza in 1993. It was my only EDC for a decade or more. I tried a whole bunch of Spyderco and Benchmade folders after that, always eventually coming to the conclusion that CRK knives were just better, regardless of whether they had the latest greatest steel or not. I wish I had hung on to all the iterations of Sebenzas I've owned over the years, but the high resale value and ease of selling on the Exchange always got the better of me. Currently I rotate between 3 21s and an Inkosi.
