whats the maximum size tree you guys would fall with a cold steel kukuri

i have a bunh of trees to cut down from 1-5 inches in dia and i was wondering if the kukuri machete could handle them

A friend of mine has one of CS's khuk machetes. I've used it to cut limbs to about 3". I suspect it would handle 5" just fine. IMO, cs's machete line is a great value and much tougher than the LTC khuk I had from them.

Any size you want to spend the time on.

Yes.

Wear gloves! With Cold Steel's kraton handles, your hand will blister long before you see the limits of the khukri's capabilities.

I think that a real khukri will work much better than CS.

Use an axe for the smaller ones and a bow saw for the larger, unless of course you're in a survival situation. In which case if the kukuri is all you've got, then go ahead and chop whatever tree you need to.

How much time do you have, and can you take a beer break? and resharpen? what about a radio?

Save yourself a lot of time and trouble and get a bow saw, an axe or a chain saw. If you have more than a very few of these to cut down the CS Kukri is not the right tool. Half a dozen or so would be no big deal but if you have a yard full of them you are asking for pain and suffering.
