I saw this blade on Google, and I would like to know it's name, and the name of scales.
I think it's called Nuclear Meltdown Fusion Battle Mistress Limited Edition (NMFBM LE) - am I right?
If the owner of this knife is reading this; I would like to buy your knife mate.

That's right--NMFBM LE, Nuclear Meltdown Fusion Battle Mistress Limited Edition. Hand-shaped, "tiger-hide" linen micarta slabs, satin blade finish. 11.25" blade length, .275" blade thickness.

Haha :D nice man..
You already have a buyer if you decide to change your mind.
Is there a difference between a LE and non LE?

Yes, typically the LE versions are satin, made in a smaller quantity (only few LE model's actual quantities are known though), and are numbered (there are sterile LE's, meaning no numbers as well).

Most of my LE's have tigerhide handles, there are few exceptions here and there.

so the only difference is the numbers? There is no difference in size weight etc?
How does the Tigerhide handle compare to a G10, and Micarta? Absorbing impact, secure grip, etc etc...
Is it possible to contact Busse custom shop and ask them to make a sterile version? Would they do that?

Busse's tiger hide I believe is linen micarta. The original Combat Grade (coated blade) model had a .25" thick blade, significantly thinner and lighter by several ounces than the LE model. Since the original release in 2008, several special runs have been done for shows and gazaas, most running to the thicker stock--up to .29/.30" for some knives, with a few as thin as .26" in my experience.

Thanks :-) I will be needing that luck. "Hope it shows up soon" <- any NMFBM LE owners reading this? :-P

I have sent an email to the custom shop asking them whether they can make a sterile version or not. Otherwise it will be a long quest to find one.

I doubt it. After getting mine two weeks ago I emailed to order another and they are out of NMFBM blanks.

Probably due to the massive quantities of INFI being reserved for the Basic 8 release.  :D
