What's the next best hotel for BLADE?

Just checked the waverly for blade weekend and it's sold out. What's next nearest and nicest? I'm ready to book flight and room but now this hiccough.

I've been staying at the ExtendedStay Deluxe Atlanta - Marietta - Windy Hill - Int. N. Pkwy for years, Amy (Busse) usually reserves a block of rooms at a discount. It's about a mile from the Waverly. Lot's of the regulars stay there.

Smoking rooms are all on the 3rd floor,


It's not the one we stayed in in 05. LOL, chopped any trees lately ?

That'll rule out the Waverly then anyway. 100% smoke free now. Sorry I can't help with the recommendations... I've only stayed at the Waverly.

I just booked 4 at the Sheraton Suites. It was almost $100 cheaper through Expedia than the BladeShow site. It looks like that hotel is getting close to being booked up as well, so I wouldn't wait too long to make a decision.

I have never been to a big knife show, I can't wait!! We are going to drive so we don't have to deal with airport security on our way back. I intend to buy a bunch of stuff.
 
The Sheraton has gone smoke free to? Bummer. The Waverly is that way because all Marriott properties went smoke free back in 2006 or so. There is a Hampton Inn right on the other side of the interstate and a Doubletree a couple of blocks away that a lot of Blade people have used over the last couple of years.
 
The last couple times I've stayed at the Wingate By Wyndham - Atlanta Galleria Center. They have a shuttle that runs regularly to the Galleria. I don't know about the smoking issue though.
 
Don't worry about a smoking room bro. All your gonna do in your room is pass out. The rest of the time will be spent drinking and smoking with us at the bar or at the fountain. Can't wait to see you in Atlanta.

Is it June yet? I'm all depressed about KC so we need to just fast forward to Blade.
 
Do a lot of HOGs seem to stay at the Sheraton Galleria and how close is it? I'm guessing it's pretty darn close since it has galleria in it's name. I can't wait! This will be my first time attending blade.

One last question...does the rooms at the Sheraton Suites have minibars :O?

the question was if i can walk on my four legs....lol...

if i check the mariott hotels site, it is said that the hotel is less than 1 mile away from the waverly...

david, will you come with the whole family?
