  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I'm getting confused lately about where to go now that I have (or will soon have) the blades I've been coveting for so long. I just found a Yo 2 and ordered it, why not I work damn hard and don't buy clothes or anything else kids my age are into...but now I don't know what to do now that I've got it all? Do I wait for the next big thing to come along? Any of you hit this wall? EDC is a cycle of ZT 0700, Kershaw Tremor and Endura 4 FFG. The far foreseeable future entails two of those sweet looking Serge-spidey dog tag blades

Upgrade your sharpening equipment if it needs it; doing that and learning how to use it should help hold you over until the next thing you want becomes available.

Look around the various forums, I'm sure you'll find something that'll catch your eye.
I actually hit a wall a while back, now I'm in full swing again. It's just fabulous, this hobby, isn't it? :p

Get a Gayle Bradley or a pm2.

You're young (judging by your "kid" comment). Don't go looking for more hobbies or things to spend your money on. They will find you. Of that, I can assure you

Go camping and use the ones you've got. Or fishing. Or learn to play the piano. ;). Life is more than waiting to have enough money to get a short term jolt from buying a knife. Enjoy what you've got for awhile...if you find that difficult then practice. :).

P.S. The piece of advice on sharpening was a good one. That will greatly enhance your enjoyment of knives! And at the end of that journey you will possess a skill much more valuable than being able to spot the best deal on the exchange. :D

Psychological help for thinking that you're "done". :D

But if you insist I agree with marthinus. Blade Forums custom knife makers - folders or fixed - offer a range of knives that can satisfy any design/use taste and surprisingly any budget. Very very cool to own a one of a kind.

Still there is something to be said for learning good sharpening or good financial management :). +1 to those ideas too. Good luck with your affliction - er - I mean quest.

If you're a Spydie collector take a look at their 2014 line up. I'm almost positive you'll find something to be coveted. Until then, recoup funds and wait until you get that itch! There is no permanent wall in this game!
