What's the scoop on Bobby Toole?

Anyone own any of his stuff? I came across his work and it looks awesome but I can't find any reviews or much info. I've been in contact with him about possibly making me a custom but I'm kinda apprehensive because of the lack of info out there.
 
I had one Toole knife I bought from him at the Arkansas show a few years ago. It was the most beautiful blue mammoth, and fit, finish and function were near flawless. The only reason I sold it was because I don't carry single blades very often. Bobby is a very good maker.

I have two of Bobbies knives that I bought from him at Blade. They are both flawless. He's a really nice guy too!
I could only find this one pic though.



 
I have a couple of his, work is awesome! You won't be disappointed. He is not on social media.
 
I pulled the trigger on this one he had posted on Instagram. I should have it Friday or Saturday.

I'm pretty sure you are going to be happy with that one. Is it about 3.5" closed?

I will, I've got a couple other customs I can compare it to. There's definitely not much out there on him.
 
He is on instagram, and not facebook? I am only on facebook. Hope he reads this and comes to the Blade show in June, missed him last year.

Apparently. He hasn't posted much, just a few knives for sale. If it wasn't for another maker I follow telling me to check out his page I'd have never heard of him.
 
Bobby has been making for quite a while now. (at least a decade or more.) Very clean work at very reasonable prices. Always enjoy touching base with him and his wife at Blade.
 
I picked the Gunstock up at the PO this morning. Holy cow! This thing is nice. Bobby was great to deal with also. I'm pretty sure I'll be contacting him about purchasing a few more.

Nice score. As others have said, Bobby makes a very nice knife and is a very nice gent. I have visited with him at the Little Rock Knife Show and the Kansas City Knife Show several times. I have seen custom Barlows on his tables for less than I see TC Barlows sell for in the aftermarket.

Absolutely correct. Good knives, great price. His knives are as good in the hand as on the screen :)
 
Does anyone know how to contact him, or if he has a rep that be contacted? I own one of his folders and have a query out on one that is supposedly for sale, but he doesn’t seem to have a website and his Instagram has no address to reach out him.
