What's the scoop on e-handles?

I'm kind of wanting something in the Steel Heart size, the plan is to wait for the Anniversary knife. The Anni knife (depending on price) seems like the best way to get into a straight handle for a decent price. The original straight handled knives seem to be very collectible and expensive. But now I'm intrigued by the ergos. They seem to be priced more reasonably on the secondary market. Is there not as much collector interest yet? How is the e-handle for an all around knife? Is it more of a dedicated chopper handle? Thanks for your insight!

the ergo's are very comfortable to use and are among my fav. i am never without a e-sh in my rafting gear. it always takes a year or so before the old model starts to become missed and climb in value.

there are several on the forum like me who wouldn't part with their ergo's no matter what. strike now if you want one as they will only double in price in the next few months if not already.

I love my E's

Here's a few

of course, there's more, just no pics.

Skunk's right, they're highly underrated and under price, for now ;)

Hey, get in line! I've been looking for a SH-E for a while now. :D

I'm one of the folks who likes the feel of the ergos. I only have the BM-E, but it fits my hand quite nicely.

i wish busse would offer the e handles again! they are very popular. a good business decision, i would think...

I just received my first e-handle Busse, the NO-E. It has a very nice feel in the hand, perfect balance, now I'm keeping my eye out for a SH-E (like the rest of you) :D

A friend of mine has an SH-e and have to agree that the Ergo handles are very comfortable. Grab one on the exchange when you can:thumbup:
