signature? ;)

I mean the one you etch on your knives. Including location/logo, the whole shebang. I am looking for length and height for the big and small knives.

Just finished mine and wanted to get an idea of the 2 different size stencil to order.

Thanks

I found for stencils, 5/8" wide x 3/8" high has covered all my needs pretty well. It fits well on the blade or the ricasso of big or small blades. It will also depend on the font and intricacy of your logo.

As back-up I also have stamps in three different sizes.

Pad,
My stencils were in the 5/8 x 3/8size. My stamps were 1/2 long and 1/8th high. But I got fed up with the inconsistencies of both those methods. I have gone to a jewelers engraver, diamond drag style pantograph. I can adjust the size from 1 inch long by 1/4 high down to 1/2 long x 1/16 high. It gives me more freedom and it provides a cleaner image. I even found a company that will make up a master template of my design and I do not have to set it up every time I use it. If you look at the price of the master etch Kit and stencils, or a couple of stamps the price is very reasonable. I got mine off ebay and it works great. I was having a jeweler do it but now he wants $35 each knife. i have already paid for the machine 2 or 3 times.

Thanks AC, if I am not satisfied with the etching method I'll take a look at that pantograph thing.

Justin thanks and nice website by the way.
