Is that a record?

It's been awhile, but I think maybe Maurice beat that.

He made a considerable amount of posts in a very short time span, some years ago.:confused:

I think I have you beat on this one. :)

Shappa: 0.70 posts per day.
Centaur: 0.66 posts per day
 
Bill Martino of Himalayan Imports passed away recently. He registered for the forums on 3/15/1999. When he died his posting counter read 34,062. Even when you average over the interval since his death his average was more than 15 postings per day. At that rate he should have hit his 2,000 post in about 133 days. He was probably posting faster in the beginning.
 
Yeah, but he had important stuff to post. I'm not being sarcastic, from what I have heard and read, he was a fountain of knowledge about knives.
 
Lone Wolf, the darling of W&C until he spectacularly self-destructed ("I will feast on your flesh!!!) racked up 686 posts in less than a month and a half. Now that was some high-quality postin'! ;)
 
Now if your talking the thread with the most post in the shortest time, the Busse Death Chat would take that honors. Over the course of 8 days, over 10,000 post to it!

Shaggi was a good friend and employee moving to another location. We gave her a fair well party :cool:

That week... My butt hurt and I lost sleep. 2319 posts in just under 8 days. We accomplished 10K posts an hour under the 1 week mark :D :cool: :eek:
