Are they appreciably thinner than the earlier releases? I did some searching but didn't find much.

Maybe someone has the link to the initial offering with the Specs?

Thank you.

Boss Jack LEs were satin and saber ground, the CG versions were convex ground and mostly coated.

the LE´s were also made of thinner stock; 0.18" compared to the CGBJ at 0.22"

From the sticky at the top of the Swamp Rat forum here at BF with Busse specs - Specs & Weights of Swamp Rat, Busse & Scrap Yard Knives it is called - which I found interesting as i have a proto !:

Boss Jack Proto (micarta)(Convex) = 11.55 oz; .22”; 6.25” blade; 11.25” oal
Boss Jack Proto (G10)(Convex)..... = 12.5 oz; .22"; 6.25" blade; 11.25" oal

Boss Jack (G10) (convex)............. = 11.7 - 12.35 oz (???); .22"; 6.25" blade; 11.25" oal
Boss Jack LE (paper micarta)(Saber) = 9.5 oz; .18"; 6.25" blade; 11.25" oal

I would just add that it is an incredible knife and my favorite incarnation of the "Jack" series.
