Whats the thicknes difference in a BWM LE and a BWM CF?

BWM-LE is .220", BWM-CG is .188"... Assuming you mean CG and not CF.

So it probably won't fit if it is nice and snug for a Combat Grade.

Its the CF (Competition Finish) and I am assuming it is the same as the Combat Grade.

To add in another twist, i've had two CF BWMs, and there was a visible difference in thickness between the two.

You don'twant to go scratching the satin BWMLE finish on a kydex sheath designed for a CF or CG thickness. I have kydex sheaths for both and the BWM LE binds if I mistakenly try to fit it in the CG sheath. However with leather you could soak the sheath and see if it would stretch to accommodate the BWM LE ... I suspect it probably would do if fully soaked ... then let it dry with the knife in place to "form" to the shape ... you can coat the knife in cling film if you're worried about rust ... but personally I have never encountered this in a one off use like this ... just grease the BWM LE with vasilne gel ...

If it helps, I have an Okuden sheath that was made for a BWM LE - it fit that and also fits my BWM CG...

I used them interchangeably.

That sounds like it would be the rule for the CF's. They are a competition finish, and only bead blasted to remove decard. There is no grinding to remove the Infi dimples, so you would expect some variance in thickness across the entire run.
