What's the word on Centurion Multi-Defense?

That load was really popular between 1861 and 1865. Back then it was called "buck and ball". It didn't increase the accuracy of the muskets but it did increase the chance of hitting something! The standard load was 1 ball of bore diameter and three 00 buck..hence the name. Remember that the one ball will not be as accurate as a solid slug so don't try any heroic long-shots if there civilians down range.....hoped that helped some.

This buck and ball load has been brought out by various companies over the years but has never stuck around very long. Logic dictates if it was better than standard loadings it would stay in vogue and we would see Militaries and LE using it...they don't. It is a fad type of round like many other "improved" shotgun loads that come and go. I'll stick with the tried and true 00 buck load for SD work.
