What's the word on the CQC-12?

Guys I was flipping through the '04 catalog and decided I liked the CQC-12. I don't see them on the website and I'm not really interested in the special edition version I saw in BLADE recently. Where can one find a basic CQC-12 and how much do they run? And what's the word on these knives? Anyone got a review? Any opinions?

I discovered the CQC-12 at www.moteng.com about 5 months ago. I too have been wondering about its attainability date. It looks as though it will have a frame lock, similar to that Strider model where the handle is one side G-10 and the other side titanium. I haven't seen it listed anywhere other than at Moteng.

Production CQC-12's have not yet been released.


There are some customs out there... In both bolstered and micarta and some in all Titanium handle.

I have a Prototype bolstered CQC-12 that I got in the lottery from Blade 04. Very cool knife!
