whats this blade shape.

Just googled that term, I only found pics on simple looking folders.

I Might need soneone to custom make similar to this
First of all, the blade shape isn't traditional by any stretch of the imagination. It's a mixture of multiple styles. Looks like a scandi grind, recurve, and reverse tanto fell into a blender and this is what came out. Hard to google that, there is no real results.
Still don't understand not trusting the knife because of half a mm of blade play? And what of the damascus?

Half a mill gap is massive blade play, it quacks like a duck, its closer to a mm gap. Beautiful looking, just wont buy something if it seems it wont last.
Rather Entrust my income elsewhere.

Was only a £45 folder though marked down from like £140 if I remember correctly.

Theres other negativity towards the perkins line on the net too.
Just one of them things.

Is it just me or does the "Perkins" line seem suspiciously like James Noble / Tim Noble knives resurfacing?

If it has a pivot pin that is not adjustable, put it in a vice with some padding on the sides so it doesn't mar up the handle, and tighten slowly until it doesn't have the slop anymore.

Wait, it has a mm gap between handle and knife? then push one handle slab down until that mm or so is sticking out, trim off, and flare so it doesn't pop out.

Enlighten me into the story of this :p

Basically he has knives made in Pakistan using designs stolen from other knifemakers and sells them at a huge profit margin claiming they are custom made in Western countries. I can't say for sure whether Perkin knives is the same or not, but it has all the trademark signs and is based in the UK...

Well to sell a damascus at 45£ and say they are "hand made" customs and have multiple amounts of each model, then easy to assume chinese kids or whatever pakistanis are called that isnt racist, made them.

The shape reminds me of an exagerated Uzi Defender. I think I saw that called a shark tooth.

Recurve American tanto Bowie? Reminds me of a Ken Onion Offset, except for the grind.
