What's this guy worth?

I can't find much info for this model. I'm thinking of letting it go, but I don't want to charge too little or too much. It is used but never abused. It has been stropped and carried. It's sporting very small strop scratches close to the secondary bevel. Other than that, it is really sharp and in great shape.

When you say stropped, only once? And that's it, no stone work? Ever disassembeled? Was that a BM custom and if so do you have the box/bag and paperwork listing its order spec's? (If its not BMC do you have box & bag?)

This is a question to anyone - I know Knifeworks currently has this model for sale (gray handles & S30V blade) however they only have the coated version. Did they previously have a non-coated version, which would be this knife?

I think that you can cusomize a grip to the one listed here. The S30V blade is like $20 over what the 154CM price is.

I did by it from Knifeworks about a year ago, but I can't find anything about its current worth.

It has not been stone sharpened. I did hit it with 1000 grit sand paper on top of a strop. I guess that's pretty much the same thing as stone sharpening. I do have the box, bag, and "user care manual"

Almost, except the gray handles - which makes it one of 500.(noted on the blade)

If I had to take a stab at it ;) I'd value it in the $120-$150 range.

I think the same knife would be $155 new from BM, but without the engraving or grey handles.

Thanks for the help guys. The last thing I want to do is sell a knife for a 1/3 of it's worth.
So, maybe $100 would be an appropriate price?

I would ask for something closer to maybe $130 - 135. Unless you really need the money now. Then a lower price for a quick sale.

Being as its a dealer exclusive LE and its got its real number (some runs all say "1 of xxx") plus its got all the options- arrow clip, all black hardware (including lock), then take its merits as a knife (an S30V decent condition 551) plus box & bag I'd list it for $150, I'd consider $120 a great deal on that knife unless you think blade wear warrants lowering the price some...

To bad the blade isn't black... Nice BM still tho, its got a stormtrooper look going on.

Some people like the limited runs and others don't care. If I was going to list it...

$115 < gone in a hurry
$130 < should still sell within a couple days
$145 < might not sell but not a bad price

There's a coated version up on the auction site that has been bid up to 145 if that helps at all.
