I have no knowledge of traditional folders - I picked this up for $15 - love the charm of it as it's beat up and thoroughly "loved"

It had John Primble Belknapp and what looks like number 5872 with a star stamped on it?

Any ideas on age etc?

Just getting broken-in. Great old knife with lots of use, maybe not cared for as well it could have been.

Still, a good score for $15 !

Great knife, and what a bargain!

Congrats, and be careful, traditionals become addicting. ;)

Congrats on the knife!!

I double his thought though, I bought my first around two years ago. Now I have a fair collection and carry nothing but my traditionals.
