Whatever happened to touching the bottle? :p

Here's some knife content. When it's 15 degrees out and I touch my FBM blade, my fingers turn blue after a while. :D

Man.... I am bummed about Coors light. Since they entered into their agreement with Miller, they no longer use sweet spring water in the beer they make in Texas :(. It is Ft. Worth water... :barf: You can really taste the difference. I guess it's bud-light from now on...

LOL, Ive been wondering that myself, I hate touching warm beer!:barf:

Hell....drinking beer has changed....all the flavors and fluff. Whatever happened to light or not light? Glad I don't drink anymore, I'd get a headache trying to figure out which one to drink to have a headache in the morning.

I don't drink, and don't really know what the heck you're talking about, but here are some blue mountains:

Hard for me to even think about beer looking at a beautiful photo like that! But I think beer has gone downhill...none of it tastes like it used to...

Hell...I can remember when there was no Light.....just beer...different brands.

Still no word from our resident expert...

So Coors used to use 'sweet spring water" in their Texas brewed beer, and now they are using Ft Worth water and you can taste the differnece? To me Coors has ALWAYS tasted like water.

Just picked up a six pack of Sam Adams Octoberfest. In general I'm not a huge fan of Sam Adams, but this seasonal is one of their best. Kicks the stuffing out of pretty much anything Coors, Miller, or Budweiser have to offer. Michelob Amber Bock is another good one, and I am looking forward to trying Michelob's American Ale if I can ever find it.

If you like a beer with taste and character, pick up a Sam Adams Octoberfest while they are out.

"Miller Lite has more taste than Bud Lite"- A blended turd probably has more taste than Bud Lite too, but I'm not going to drink one of them either.

This is all part of the softification of America. We accepted twist off caps, light, and non alcoholic like it would some how be good for us. Now they have weaseled in cans shaped like bottles, lime and salt , or just lime. What's next? Berry flavored? And now Budwiser is being bought by a foreign country.
How about adding something for real men, like whiskey. The true breakfast of champions.
P.S. Blue mountains are great.

I may be no expert but I am a master as far as SKUNK is concerned...

COORS LIGHT is great stuff but only in cans.... I have 0 experience with those stupid (non-shotgun friendly) glass containers..

I deem COORS LIGHT the absolute BEST beer for shotgunning !!!:thumbup::thumbup: Very smooth and does not burn your throat when killing a 12 oz can in 2-3 seconds ...

Just ask nut_sak_himself... Right when he got back from the Marine Officer training, my friends and I saturated his brain in Coors shotgun madness... He is quite good. All that training payed off ... 2.5 seconds per beer is impressive..

I recommend going to the movies and shotgun some Coors ..:cool:

Shotgunning beer can lead to Drain Bamage! You really can't get a good 'shotgun' going with modern aluminum cans, you need the old metal PBR or 14 oz. Old Millwater can to built up some negative pressure and when you rip that top off there goes the back of your head!!! I don't see much challenge in shotgunning a Coors Light, how do you know when it's empty?! ;)

Yes ... his work does cause me to experience a mild form of 'despair.'

I can snap all the pics I want. They're NOT going to look like his. :(

Bah. Coors Light is for girls. I WANT my throat to burn when I drink! And shotgunnin's for college kids. Give me some Budweiser and I'll show you how a MAN drinks. Just bottoms up and down the hatch it goes! Give me a glass and I'll drink a 12 oz Bud in less than one second, in a single gulp. (that is a skill that took some time, and much practice to develop!)

Thanks.

If you find your way out West, perhaps we can go camping and shooting (cameras). I'm sure you'll come back with something you'll like.

In case you don't find your way out West, here's a condensed advanced photo course:

Be one with your photo gear, and handle your gear by reflex, so that it doesn't interfere with your thoughts and feelings. Learn the way your camera and lenses "see" differently than you, and emulate how they "see" when you look for subjects and when you compose photos. Know the natural world to understand what is happening, to understand how it is interesting, and to anticipate what will happen. Slow down when you're looking. Let your heart fill with empathy for your subject. Think about why this scene resonates with you. Focus completely on your photographic intent. What are you experiencing? What do you want your picture to communicate? How can you make the scene in front of you express your vision? Imagine the ideal moment and the ideal set of events, then commit yourself fully to getting this shot, and make your no-compromise best effort; you get out of it what you put into it. Block cultural references from your mind; to thine own self be true.

And have fun.

I shall give it a shot! :)

What I really need is ... some free time. :( My career is just eating me alive.

I haven't been out in the wild for, well, years now. :(
