What's this one called?

It is a limited edition SOG Government. At that time (probably right around 1990 or shortly thereafter), SOG made 4 limited edition fixed blades. I'm fairly certain I've done a post on this topic (once upon a time), but at the moment, the search feature wasn't working for me. What set these off as unique is that each had a different type of handle than the original and each were numbered.
  • Pentagon: cocobolo handle
  • NW Ranger: cocobolo handle
  • Government: leather handle
  • Desert Dagger: leather handle
They are beautiful knives. Someone had better snag this one, because it is very rare...it's especially nice because it looks in great condition.

Well she sure is a beauty and that sheath is enough to quiet the most harden of all Sog sheath critics. But at $250.00 USD the guy's not giving it away although it does look brand-new. Just wondering, if you could jog your memory enough, why the brass on one end and what looks to be stainless steel on the other end with no thong hole? As far as you can remember is that the way they were originally made? Thanx Ron.
