Forgive my ignorance but aren’t all blades stamped or etched, or when stripping the coating you lose the etch?

Thank you. I used to have a bunch more pictures, but when photobucket imposed a large fee for third party hosting, I closed my account and ended up losing all my pics.

Yeah, that did suck. I had most of the photos on PB already on my pc. I deleted most of them. Later on, they sent me an email, wanting to charge me the regular $40 again. I use Fotki now. More storage, and cheaper. Not free though.

Sometimes the etch is deep enough it is not lost. Some people deepen the etch before they strip so it is not lost.
