WHat's to stop me from buying one of these and rigging it so that it delivers blast material at 250PSI ??? Let me know if you guys think this is at all possible. Thanks...Rich

At that pressure all you're gonna do is blow the side of your cabinet out. Be hard to hold on to parts too.

One of what? Are we supposed to see a picture? I thought I was missing something.

But if you're just talking about a regular blast cabinet of some type, there's no need to run pressure that high. I believe they tell you to run it somewhere around 80-100 pounds.

It's the volume of air being delivered at the proper pressure that counts, not a high amount of poundage.

Say away from the oilless compressors. I had nothing but problems with the one that I had. :grumpy:

What Mike said. I am always ammused be those who think a six pound hammer will work twice as good as a 3 pounder.

I bought a compressor like that for my semi truck. It lasted about 2 times of filling up a truck tire to 110 pounds. Once you get above 75 psi with it, it is working real hard. No way it would work at 250 psi for any time without burning out.

No! That type of compressor is just for filling tires, and it probably won't do that very well. It takes several minutes with one of those, just to inflate a 31x10.50x15 tire. The blast cabinet would laugh at it, and call it a girly man.;) :D

You could put a few of those in the tank of a good compressor. ;)

Good Lord, Mike, I laughed so hard I almost pee'd myself! Thank you, sir, for the laugh. That made my morning! :D
