What's up with Malice Clips?

I've got a bunch of Maxpedition stuff that uses Malice clips for attachment and was about to order a Triad admin pouch for my Pygmy Falcon II along with a couple other items from the Maxpedition web site. I was going to order some more Malice clips, and they're no longer listed on their site! Anyone have a clue what's up with them?

Seems strange since a lot of their pouches and such require them for attachment that they would stop carrying them.

They're still available elsewhere, but since Maxpedition is the one distributing them, what happens when the shops run out? I'm wondering if they're having manufacturing issues, have discontinued them and have something else coming down the road, or if they're being redesigned?

Since so many of their products require them for attachment, it doesn't add up if they're not even in their online catalog any more.

Maybe, but you can't use the Speed Clip on a belt. I think the MALIC clips are more versatile as well. But if you're using MOLLE/STRIKE/PALS/SPEAR/whatever new acronyms have been made up in the last 5minutes pouches on a MOLLE platform I suppose they are better.

Tactical Tailor was the company that invented them. I don't know if Maxpedition is the distributor or not, but if they are maybe TT has decided to go with someone else.
