what's up with strider knives lately?

ok, so i was not going to post again on this thread because i felt that i raised a good issue that was well dicussed by many and this thread had run a great course. i look at this forum and others as a place to have an intellectual discussion, however today i tried to check my control panel on the usual suspect forum and i could not log in. i sent an email to the staff and thought nothing more of it. tonight i come home and check my email only to find from a fellow USN member that apparently i have been banned from the usual suspect forum. if this was in any way because of this thread, i think that is total bullshit. i opened this thread ackowledging my respect and love of strider knives but merely wanted to discuss a phenomenon and something that i have been noticing lately, not judge it, but try to understand it. i have received numerous emails agreeing with me that they too are perplexed by this phenomenon and have thought this was a good thread. i felt this would be a good topic to discuss, and now i find that it might have been a bit too much for people. why i will never know, but i have a serious problem accepting that my freedom to discuss a valid topic somehow put me in a position to be ineligible to meet with others on a forum. i can only hope that me being banned from the other site is a mistake and not related, but as of now, i have not received any responses to my emails.
 
I know that one time last year, I was shut out and sent an email to an administrator. I received a response saying it was in error, and to try and log back in, which I successfully did. I really do hope that your response from the mods over there is identical to mine, as this thread surely shouldn't provoke that type of action being taken. :confused:
 
Yeah, Doorkicker, you can apparently be banned for not thinking like one of them...
It's a shame we don't ban them for being such babies.

i think implying my friend dave is a retard is going to be hard to recover from.

Too many good folks on both forums and it is shortsighted to think otherwise.
