it opens as fast as a autobut its legal everywhere the 440 A is the best 440A i have ever used it holds its edge for a long time the overall quality is damn good
 
I handled one a couple of weeks ago and it's a pretty solid knife. Though I did notice that it doesn't have as much snap as some of the newer SpeedSafes (i.e. Leek, Chive, etc.), but the vault lock is pretty cool and it feels good in the hand.

I think that may be because it is CPM 440V, rather than 440A.
