What's up with these David Farmer Blades?

I recently received my first D. Farmer blade from Rupestris as contest prize from his Birthday thread... It is a small utility blade with wood grips, I liked the feeling and figured it would make a blade for one of my packs. I sharpened it on the Spyderco ceramics and cut a little with it, my wife used it in the kitchen a little, I cut little more, and than it hit: that blade is silly sharp! I posted Thank you to Rupestris and another member made a comment about Farmer's blades being sharp, and several more comments were recently made in a golok thread.. Not jumping on the band wagon, but if my blade is an indication, Mr. Farmer studied geometry...

Been working with a 4.25" version of his Bushcrafter since November and it the sharpest knife I have ever recieved. It is also 3/32" thick.

Ruben wrote up a kick ass article in the latest TK...

Yeah, I have long regarded the little Brusletto blade at the top of the pic as one of the sharper knives I own, but it doesn't have anything on the Farmer...

One of the best in the game, it's a Koyote Girl (Sierra) sheath.

I use a Farmer blade almost exclusively in the outdoors. Very sharp and holds an edge a very, very, long time. I trust his knives and recommend them to anyone wanting a quality blade.

Wow, I remember that sheath!

The knife looks really sweet, there. I like the profile a lot.

I contacted Dave a little over a month ago and asked if I could get one of his Pixie blades without a handle or sheath. The blade is very nice, I’ve started putting the handle parts on it so I can’t get a perfect before and after picture but I’ll snap a couple when I get home tonight.

This is David's Eagle Feather model, I supplied the denim laminate to him to use:

Here is a pic I ripped off from him, I made the laminate on his special request, and the knife ended up with Les George (actually Les' wife)
