What's with the Janitor, and why is he answering the phone?

Called the shop today with a very important question about my very important order, and knew that only the very important Amy-O could help me with my very important issues. Next thing I know the friggin' Janitor picks up the phone, and tells me the Boss gave Amy and the girls a long weekend, but that he'd try to help. I can hear him through the phone knocking things over, and making a general mess of what I assume is normally a tidy office when Amy's running it. I hesitantly tell him what my very important question is. So then, this Janitor puts me on hold, for 5 whole seconds, and comes back on to tell me my situation is in the queue for resolution, and that my order will be leaving by days end. Not bad for a guy who's usually just around mopping up at night. :thumbup:

I've been lurking around for about 5 years now, and I've never had the pleasure of talking to Him before. His personality is infectious. He has a way of making you feel like you're the most important thing he'll attend to all day. Pretty much made my whole day getting to chat with him for a few minutes. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
 
Hey, we don't pay him for that...tell him to get back to cleanin' up the joint! :grumpy:;):D:D

Yep, that Janitor... He's a great guy!!! :thumbup::thumbup:
 
If Amy reads this, that Janitor is in trouble. He is under strict orders from the Manager of Customer Service to not take orders or try to help in any way, as past experience has shown that he just makes a mess of things.
 
I once spoke to the Janitor, about my very important order. I think it was my first call to the shop. In fact I tried to interupt him because I knew I had to talk to Amy!

Then my slow brain started to catch on - he did seem to know a few things, in fact he made some suggestions - and when my order arrived it was amazing!

Yup - He is a pretty cool guy and even while drinking, he does seem to get thing done :):thumbup:;)

Hard to tell. It was 11am in Ohio, but I don't suppose that means anything to Janitors, does it? When I told him I was west of the Rockies and was sorry I had never made it to Blade he mentioned that he was organizing an upcoming show in Vegas. I said, "Oh is there a Blade show in Vegas for the West?" He said, "No, it'll just be a 'drunk fest' of sorts". I took this to mean he was sober at the time, and daydreaming about drunker times to come. I can't say for sure either way though.
 
If you want a quick response, you gotta sent the janitor some JWB and some FFOXs. To ensure the janitor receives your shipment of before mentioned items, send Amy-0 a case of Coors Light and Clark Bars.
