What's with the Private Messaging?

I'm a new Gold Member, and thought that Private Messaging was one of the benefits. I have tried to PM several different people (one for a reason, the others to see if it was just a problem with that one). Anyway, I get a message stating I do not have access to that page, or something to that effect. Has this feature been turned off while Spark is reworking the Server issues, or am I getting jipped?

Ok, that's interesting. I just looked up and noticed that I am now a Basic Member. What's that all about? I was just a Gold Member the other day.

I e-mailed Spark about this, and apparently he has taken care of the situation.
