Today I received Sportsman II and Huntsman II. It looks like economy version of Sportsman and Huntsman.
Does anybody knows if those "II" are just economy line or is this the future of Vic?

Yeah, the "II" is the synonym Amazon.com (and, maybe, others) use for the "Eco" line.

I actually sort of prefer the ecoline scales. Even though the Swiss shield is stamped rather than inlaid, the nylon scales don't tend to warp and will not wear out as fast as cellidor (or however it is spelt :P)

I have to agree with you. My first impression was not only that scales looked cheep, but that the metal parts were different and not as shiny. On additional examinations and after I cleaned excess oil of I found them to be exactly the same as regular, except for scales.
Scales are the same as on 111mm models and are more durable.
So it boils down only to cheep looking Swiss shield. Amazing how that little thing can effect the look.

That shield is the first thing that draws my eye when I see all my SAK's lined up (it's really what makes the collection what it is). Still, I would much rather have an Eco-Line model as my user rather than a normal cellidor model.
