My favorite knives are my A.G. Russell medium stockman and my small Sebenza 21.
If I have to brutalize a knife daily, I'm going with the Spyderco Gayle Bradley.

There ain't nothing tactical about these knives... why do I like them so much?

In my use/experience, tactical doesn't mean better at all. I've found that my fav knives are the simpler plainer ones... why make it complicated...

Welcome to the traditional section to wonder that :D Soon you'll find out that lock is not necessity ;)

Tactical is a state of mind.

A stick can be considered tactical by some under certain circumstances.

Nothing is wrong with you.

Probably because "tactical" knives don't carry very well? I mean, that's a big part of the function of a knife; most people will need a knife that's easy to carry more than they'll need one for combat. And the Sebenza and Gayle Bradley are particularly nice non-tactical knives, too.

Looking at the knives you listed maybe what you like isn’t “tactical” but “quality”.

I'd say the Emo-Level of the mall ninja holding it? :D

Haha, what?

Still waiting on an answer.

I don't know that tactical means outside of something having to do with tactics.

But I seem to get along just fine with a Sebenza, except when I'm confronted with my girlfriend's tactical blueberry muffins...

If it bothers you that much, carry a Pink Izula(nothing says tactical like pink) on your belt, or a delica wave in your back pocket.

Tactical means you have to think long and hard about how and if you want to stab someone with it.

I'm personally not keen on violence, or murder charges. I'll be sticking to fruits, vegetables, and the occasional cardboard box.

No steak?

I've watched someone try and saw through a steak with a steak knife that had "Made in China" stamped on the blade. I then took out my slightly chipped paring knife in VG-10 at Rc62 and diced a piece off with one cut:thumbup:.

to me tactical means black. while i can understand while that would be valuable i prefer a stainless blade. if the SHTF my first thought wont be i wish i had a black knife.
