What's wrong with the Emerson customer service?

Hi *@*,

I have a problem with the sheath of my Emerson LaGriffe and mailed the Emerson customer service (Info@EmersonKnives.com) about it.
My first attempt was on December 4th, 2003 and I mailed them again on January 3rd, 2004 ... and I got NO response at all.

Is the Emerson customer service just THAT bad/slow or is there another email address I should try?

Their email address is not checked very often.

Call their shop. +1 310 212 7455.

The customer service is usually very good (when they are not at shows or over holidays) most of my repairs and refurbs have been turned around within 48 hours. (Now, their choice of going with UPS ground is a different story...)

Seconding biogon.

Calling is the best way -- they're truly very, very, very good in terms of CS, just not with e-mail.

Ditto above. Pick up the phone- nimmt aber viel von deine Telefonkarte ab.
Keine Sorge, Emerson Kundendienst ist ausgezeichnet.

Thanks for the hints. I guess I will have to call them .. but they really should check their email more often. :)

Es ist inzwischen erstaunlich guenstig, von Deutschland aus in die USA zu telefonieren. Ich habe gerade nochmal nachgeschaut, der billigste call-by-call Anbieter kostet nur 2.4 cent/minute (that's about US$ 0.02/min). :-)

Wahnsinn! Es war so verdammt teuer als ich in Deutschland wohnte...
Ein Kumpel von mir arbeitete mit so 'ne Firma gerade nach der Zeit der DT der Wuergelgriff vom Fernsprachdienst loeste. Meine Ex-freundin ruft mich jetzt ab und zu an- sie sagt auch dass es billiger geworden ist.
Viel Glueck mit dein Reparateur- Emerson hat mein Commander fast nagelneu gemacht.

Insanity! It was so condemned expensively as I in Germany lived... A buddy of me worked with so ' ne company straight after the time of the DT of the Wuergelgriff of the telephoning service solved. My ex friend calls me now from time to time on it says also that it became cheaper. Much luck with your repairer Emerson made mine nearly brand-new COMM other. Greetings from Amiland,

LOL!! :D :D I love babelfish- it makes such a hash of translations. Some friends of mine used to send me e-mails full of gibberish that they would ask me to 'reverse' translate. It never made any sense...
Sorry about the slip into 'code'.
And yeah- Emerson customer service rocks. :cool:
