Whats wrong with this picture?

Hello folks,

Just got this in yesterday. Knife arrived in the usual CRK standard. Can you figure out whats not adding up?

Good eye chili77! I paid for the single lug Insingo but got a double lug birth certificate instead. Looks like a minor oversight on CRK.

Aside from the certificate I'm loving this Insigno and micarta combination.

I would get that corrected with the right cert. A third party may look at this with suspicion.

Did you get it from CRK direct, or could it happen to be put in the wrong box by a dealer who took it out for picture or inspection?

I ordered her online. I guess it could have happened at the dealer but since this is a generic model, the dealer picture had the older lug (without the dimple). This one had the new dimple lug.

Bottom line is I’m very happy with my purchase but was a little confused with the birth certificate. I’ll probably give a call to CRK and see what they do. I wonder if anyone else has seen this incident before?

I just had a similar experience with my recently purchased Plain Jane Small Insingo. I ordered it with silver thumbstud and hardware, but it came with a blue backspacer. No biggie, but I did send them an email to see if I could get a silver backspacer.
