Haven't seen a, "What's yer wife carry?" in a while, so What does she carry?

Mine carries an old Spyderco Copilot,

SAK Classic on the key ring,

An Original Limited Edition White, Blackie Collins Jogging Buddy hanging from the mirror in the car.

For all those of you who are tired of this kinda thread, sorry, but it gives me ideas for what kind of knife to get her for Xmas.

My girlfriend (live-in variety) carries a Richartz Futura 7 SAK-type knife... covets my rainbowed titanium hawgtooth... and is patiently waiting for me to get her a Spyderco Cricket (she just loves that knife)... preferably a Pink one.. tho i can't seem to find one for her anywhere anymore :(

i was also thinking about one of those carbon fiber or aluminum ones... again not easy to get in Canada... On that note, anyone have a Pink Cricket to sell let me know :)

Usually a Kershaw Chive, sometimes a Beretta (metal handle with the cutout blade), for a while she carried my HK version Spyderco "Q", and she has ordered a Rainbow Leek from Kershaw. And although she's never carried it she also has a Chris Reeves Aviator.

My wife carries a 98 MT SOCOM DA, partially serrated. It was the first MT I ever owned. As soon as she pushed the button on it, I never got it back :( I don't mind, she carries it all th time and DOES use it quite often. She also has a FANCY double edged boot knife that I made for her. That rides in her dresser drawer

Mine always carries a Spyderco Rescue in her purse... it cuts like crazy (it's fully serrated) and has a safe sheepfoot blade.

My girlfriend has Bright pink executive SAK with her name on it, on her keychain.

At least it's a victorinox, and not the chinese variety. She got it in Switzerland.

I bought her a LM Micra. She says "I use it all the time". I said "Really, where is it then?" I don't think she actually knew. I haven't seen it in 6 months.

Then again, I can't seem to find my LM Wave lately, either.

Oh well. Not everyone likes knives. An SAK is better than nothing, especially when it reminds you of a trip to Europe. :)

On her uniform(she is a LEO) she rotates between a '98 Emerson Commander ,mini-C Emerson, Microtech LCC D/A, and most of the time a Strider AR in a Gary Graley leather sheath. For casual wear she carries either a Tom Mayo TNT, Larry Davidson D/A, Bob Dozier folding hunter, Elishewitz Neo Nexus(3/10) or any of the above. Like women that change their clothes, she changes her knife carry :D
She loves to watch peoples faces when she pulls out the Strider AR, and flicks it open the most though:D

My wife hates my knife addiction.:grumpy:

She carries a Burgundy Micarta Jester that I gave her. I would have given her a a William Henry Black & Tan Lancet, but she refuses to learn how to open a folding knife with one hand - that would have been a waste of a perfectly good knife.

My bride carries a pink Cricket or PE Copilot almost everyday.
Her camping folder is a micarta Calypso Jr.

My, she has good taste in knives, and men. :)

Aside from a customized Glock 26, my wife carries a SOG ParaTool (soon to be replaced with a SOG Pocket PowerPlier), and a Cold Steel medium plain-edge Voyager.

Ain't got no wife. Have a girlfriend, kind of, though and she carries a blue Spyderco Delica and a G-10 koppo.

My wife gave me her MOD Ladyhawk auto for a trade I made and now she carries a CRKT S2, Good deal on my part, and she really likes the CRKT better. :D

My wife carries a Burgundy Micarta Jester also. Carries, but has vowed never to use. Just 'cuz it bugs me.
She also claims to carry a LM Micra I gave her as well as a Gerber Chameleon.
I offered to get her a pink Delica or Cricket, but she said no. Oh well...

A Benchmade Panther is her "in the purse" carry. When she's wearing pants it's a blue BM Leopard. I'm pleased to say that she is rarely more than an arms length away from a blade and they get used too. :)

Right now, all I can get my girlfriend to actually carry is a Spyderco Ladybug that I gave her with a Chris Reeve lanyard so that her smallish hands can open the knife easier. However, she does like to steal my knives, as she has done with my Benchmade 330 and my RW Clark Mini Aikuchi.

My better half carries a Pink Delica SE, a Pink Jester PE, and a LM Micra. Only problem seems to be the Jester has been found open three times in her purse. We can't figure out how it is opening, guess something is finding it's way into the hole and pulling the blade open. The Jester is on her keys. I am probably going to put a Blue Ladybug on her keys, the hole is smaller so it may not open in her purse.

Haha Neil,

You should have done what I did. I gave my wife my BM mini-Reflex to keep her away from my Microtechs! :)

She's an Italian from N.Y. and likes things that go "ker-thwack" :D

I didn't have to convince my wife to put a knife in her bag. I'm a knifemaker and she did bug me for months to make her something nice. Her knife is a full tang moified 2-1/2inch wharncliffe blade of 1/8inch stock O-1 carbon tool steel with a flat grind, a real ripper of a tip, large single finger groove and handle slabs of black polyester pearl and nickle silver pins, in a black leather sheath.

The handle is a 3 finger grip for me but a full hand grip and very secure for my wife. She uses it mainly to open boxes and envelopes at work and it does get a few odd looks from colleagues, but most know that I'm a knifemaker, so the comments are few and far in between.

Like many other women I know she just refuses to learn to operate a one-handed folder, but will go straight for the fixed blade. Why fight nature ? Cheers

My wife has a Buck Tool that she generally carries. Also, upon occasion, she's been known to clip a Spyderco Native to her pants. There's also a Carel Smith Small Circles II folder, a Charlie Dake mid-lock folder (manual), and a Kathleen Tomey Day Hiker. Plus, I just ordered a boron-carbide black Chive for her (part of the deal whereby I took possession of the tiger-stripe Simonich Mid-Tech Crowfoot she won at the BodyCote open house).
