What's Your Dream Handgun?

Easy,

Soviet OTS-38 revolver firing silent ammunition. Even comes with a built in laser pointer. Actually the gun fires from the bottom chamber.

Supposedly it is quieter than even the famed PPS, which is known for the slide operating making more noise than its silent ammo firing. Supposedly firing the OTS-38 is not much louder than dry firing a double action revolver.

Even with unlimited money I don't know how I would find this gun.

Now that I’ve heard of this handgun, I have to have it! How to get it back from Kyrgyzstan, It’d be cheaper to buy a g5, probably!

Yeah that gun is just too cool. You could literally be standing in the middle of a crowd and fire the OTS-38 through your pocket into your target. Even though you could be standing right next to your target while you fire it will be hard for anyone to tell where the shot came from.

First off there is the fact that the gun is nearly silent, secondly as a revolver it won't eject any shells for evidence. Not that I need a gun like this as I am not a hitman, but damn it's cool!

Jason Burton.

I'd also (again we're playing the what-if I won the lottery game) throw money at Chuck Rogers (Rogers Precision) until he built me a 1911.

In all honesty I've owned several custom 1911s from Nighthawk or Ed Brown to a completely custom builds from scratch and most of my other semi autos have had some fine tuning and a bit of customization ...

so for me it would be a tough call between an orginal Unfired 1873 Colt Peace Maker 45LC ... and a complete set of New Colt Phytons beautiful blue steel ... the 2.5" ... the 3" ... the 4" ... the 6" ... and the 8" ... ok so Im greedy ...

The gunsmith that worked on my pistols, and Wiley Clapp's, had a 1911 commander with an officers slide that he had built. It was the nicest 1911 I have ever handled. When he passed away his son sold it. :(
The one I dream of though is the Walther P88. Ishould have bought one when I had the chance. The best trigger I have ever squeezed. One day...

How about a XM556 and around a million rounds of ammo. At 6,000 rounds per minute, that much ammo might get you through a good day at the range. :D

a CZ 97B compact would be pretty sweet.
or double stack, alloy framed, commander sized 1911 .45 that actually functioned reliably.

Browning HP, done by Wayne Novak in the HRT style.

That's pretty close to my dream gun. I have a BHP but I'd love to have it sent to Cylinder & Slide to have a beavertail welded on and the full boat package of goodies for it. Next to that I would say a NIB HK P7. 3rd choice would be a tricked out racegun from STI.

If we're talking all expenses paid, I think I'd jump on a Cabot Black Diamond with Mammoth grips.
