Mate, here we're spoilt for choice....And when a DOTD coincides with me having money in my bank account, there's always a new dream kukri for me !!
I'm not being flippant, just honest.
I would like to try to get the SUPER CAK/BONECUTTER made by SGT. KHADKA in a few modifications if possible
I would like the belly of the blade close to 3+ inches wide
I would like the spine width about 7/16”+ thick
I would like the length close to 21”, I would like blade length close to 15”
I would like Chiruwa style handle
I would like a darker Satisal wood handle
I would like the full Chiruwa warranty if possible. This is to be a heavy user/chopper.
I would like to get close to this one.
Well, I pondered and dreamed, and HI is making something for me right now. It may not end up being my favorite, but it will have some abilities and potentials not found in most khukuris. It will qualify as a dream khukuri because it is the product of a fevered imagination.
Stay tuned.
A 18-20 inch BAS. And of course an Ang Khola Bowie, of course I haven't seen many of those around lately. Actually not for a long time now. Always have liked the bowie, ever since I first saw it. That's the country boy in me I guess.
