Ive been thru a TON of bags and packs!
Gotta love the 511 Rush 24!!!
What i am most impressed about this pack is how
easy the zippers work. Grab the pull, and its coming
undone. The 26 sneaks in and out. EDC light, the
Fenix LD20 is sweet for 40 bucks and uses AA batts.
There's a lot of videos on the 511 Rush 24 they don't
justify the actual thing. Very cool EDC pack!!

My GHB/EDC is a Maxpedition Doppleduffel. It's amazing and can take serious beatings for years on end. I've drug mine on macadam, slammed it in doors, left it in snow, etc...looks brand new.

As far as load and what it can hold...I'll say pretty much anything you'd need survival-wise. To give you an idea, I've got a Draco, G19, knives, lights, rotator/trauma bag/vest (reflective/EMS), 550 Cord, and a ton of other stuff. Mine weighs in around 30lbs.

Forgot to add that it also transforms from a duffel to a shoulder bag to a pack in a few second...and VERY comfortable to boot!

What are you currently carrying in your T-bag?

I just ordered a Hazard 4 Kato. I plan on keeping it on the front seat of the car for a "get home bag".

What are you currently carrying in your T-bag?

I'll preface it by saying on my person I carry quickclot...one in my motorcycle jacket to. Plus I'm in the process of building a smaller kit just for GSW/assault injuries (tourniquet, quick clot, israeli bandages, etc.)

In the bag there are tons of gauze/dressings, shears, BP cuff, stethoscope, ointment, airways, light, tape, gloves, glasses I know there is other stuff that I'm forgetting right now but that's what I'm envisioning off-hand.

I work maintenance for a school district, so I usually get a couple decent daypacks from the lost and found after the end of each year. I have had/bought/traded Kifaru, Maxpedition, Snugpak, REI, Kelty, etc. and they were all good, but Dakine packs are my favorite so far for EDC.

I really like those Kifaru's but, you'd think they're lined with gold... expensive!

For EDC I have a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipak. Carries a small firstaid kit as well as a light and a few other essentials. Also has concealed carry compartment which houses a HK USP compact.

Got the Versipak jumbo left hand. Great going to the creek bag.
That closest to your hip pocket is the ultimate small frame holder.
Day packs are the norm where i work so i go un-noticed!! HA HA!!!
Used to get ribbed about packs, Now they all carry them!!

My wife always asks if I am taking my purse. She just doesn't understand.

Plus, WAY COOLER than a fanny pack.

Maxpedition Kodiak
Carries everything needed with room for more.
Kodiak on the left, Vulture II on the right, My Bushcraft pack.

HA HA!!! Bravado!!
That reminds me of a supervisor that said, Why you carrying that pack?
Your not in grade school!! I said, Your wife doesnt want me to stop by
in my work clothes. "could i put on something different?' So i have a
change of clothes.!! The cool thing is!! the next week he is on the in house radio
asking for maintenance or tool room to fix his problem.
Who shows up!!!Me and Mike just grinning!
It all comes around!!!! HA HA!!

I have a Max -:barf:-pedition briefcase thing I carry in the truck.

Love the bag but I think I will look around for a Eagle bag. The owner of Maxpedition just rubs me the wrong way on a personal level.

Can't carry a pack or bag at work. There is an Eagle Becker in the back of my Landcruiser and an Eagle Patrol pack in the back of my SV6. More likly to be somewhere needed much more gear if I am in the Landcruiser than in the SV6 so that is the difference between the two for me.

Eagle Med Bag and Eagle A-3's
For serious stuff I have two McHales, they will carry way over a 100 pound load with ease.
One has been to a war zone several times and all over the world and back.

I've been carrying the 511 Rush Messenger Bag recently, and I love it! Lots of room, built like a tank, excellent overall.

I am getting to know a small Saddleback satchel better, though. ;)
