Iron or maybe Steel Wedding anniversary, bought my Wife an after market Satined BBSHSH.

Beat that.

Back when the were maybe $250.00/$300.00 Dollars U.S.

Took it in as a trade on a new one, sort of a New Knives for old sort of thing.

My credit card balance was getting too low thus sending our financial markets into a frenzy due to my lack of debt and patriotism. I HAD to buy that Busse, else I didn't deserve to live in this great country and surround myself with those who blame my spending habits for their mistakes.
 
Via my wife, "IF you don't buy it now, you'll wish you had later when it's not available."
 
It's the right thing to do and the right way to do it.

And, btw, we're eating nothing but oatmeal until the credit card's all paid off.

Yikes! Sorry to hear that.:thumbdn: Plenty of fish in the sea!!!

I just tell myself... if I keep them minty they will most likely appreciate in value, and some of the goody goods appreciate even when used.
 
My just-coined excuse to buy a couple of guns I want would work for Busses also.

With the printing presses cranked up to pay for the massive scialist programs in the bailout plan, inflation is going to ruin the value of my retirement savings, anyway, or it will be confiscated by taxes, so I might as well spend it now.
