Same here, the only one I have is the Rustic Gent. Personally I think they knock this one out of the park--great contoured handle with no gap between carbon fiber and burlap micarta, the burlap has just the right kind of texturing, steel is alright and decent pull with solid lockup.Only one I have is the rustic gent. Nope, it’s not hard. In fact, from the couple knives I have sharpened that were made overseas, the D2 was a bit soft, and edge retention suffered because of it.Whats wrong with D2? So you have to keep it oiled....is that hard?
Pretty sure most of them are 9cr rather than d2.Nope, it’s not hard. In fact, from the couple knives I have sharpened that were made overseas, the D2 was a bit soft, and edge retention suffered because of it.
I’m lumping a couple manufacturers in one group.Pretty sure most of them are 9cr rather than d2.
